Dissociative Amnesia is an introspective project in which Siavash digitally scanned places in Tehran that carry strong personal memories—sites that once shaped his sense of home. These include the shop where he first rented computer games, the house where he spent most of his childhood, the streets he walked during periods of love and transition, his friends’ homes, and his studio.

By digitally preserving these locations, he attempts to hold onto spaces that no longer exist in the same form, or no longer belong to him physically. The work reflects on how memory, place, and identity shift over time, and how technology becomes a tool for preserving emotional attachment when home turns into something fragmented, distant, or unstable.
