Through a series of letters exchanged between a mother in Iran and her close friend who was forced to migrate to Germany, an intimate and archival dialogue takes shape. Their voices reflect personal experiences of immigration, motherhood, and survival within different social and political realities.

Mozhgan, newly arrived in Germany, writes about cultural adaptation, language loss, economic pressure, and the strain these conditions place on family life and marriage. Nasrin, writing from Iran, reflects on raising children in a society shaped by the aftermath of war and long-term instability. Together, their letters form a shared narrative that connects two mothers—not only as friends, but as women negotiating identity, care, and resilience across borders.
